It is with deep regret that we are compelled to announce the death of one of the Confederation of Union General's first members, Kenneth Riley. The end came Tuesday, September 6, 2005
That though he did not fall amid the smoke and din of battle, where the soldier most loves to die, yet his death was none the less glorious; his country non the less served and that though our country has one defender less, Heaven, we trust, has one solider more.
LAST ROLL CALL
ANOTHER SOLDIER GONE
The Confederation of Union Generals extends our warmest sympathy to the friends and relatives of our departed comrade William "Billy" Boehmer. Lieutenant Boehmer has gone to his long home on Saturday, February 23, 2008, he was 70 years of age at the time of his death
The remains were escorted to the grave by delegates from the Confederation of Union Generals and a host of friends and relatives all of whom were remembering him with beautiful floral offerings.
All that was mortal of Harry Sproehnle left its earthly tenement and passed the boundaries of the known to the unknown on Tuesday, December 14, 2004
One by one, the names to this mournful record are added. Tearfully sorrowing we lay their remains in their last resting place and all over the land, marble shafts are raised to commemorate our fallen brave.
To the sorrowing ones, the Confederation of Union Generals will join their many friends in offering sympathy.
We shall meet, but we shall miss them. There will be one vacant chair in their honor!
Faded away from earth;
To shine in heaven above.
To light a path through the clouds of death,
To the golden land of love.
KENNETH RILEY PASSES TO HIS LAST REST
